Booking travel is so different then it used to be! Can you book your own travel? Of course you can, and I did for years. Why didn’t I use a travel agent? One reason and one reason only. I thought it would be more expensive. I was so wrong! I had no idea that if you book a hotel room on your own or with a travel agent the price is the same! The only thing that is different is who you are giving the money to. Are you giving more to the hotel or is some of it going to the travel agent. I also had no idea of the value a travel agent would bring to my adventure. Here are some of the benefits you get from working with me:
- I have a passion for research and planning of trips! I will work with you to find what you love to do on a trip to make it custom made just for you! If you love researching trips as well we will work together to make the perfect trip!
- I will book everything for you. I can book your flight and hotel of course. I will also book your tickets for museums/sports events/day trips…you name it.
- I will confirm your hotels and tours so you don’t have to worry!
- You will receive a hard copy of your itinerary as well as an electronic one. You will know day by day what you are experiencing that day as well as what to look forward to!
- My consultation is ongoing. I will be working with you and advising you on the experiences that will make this trip exactly what you want!
- I have traveled extensively. I have experienced and written down tips to make your vacation go just as you plan. I will provide you with hard copies of packing lists and tips for travel. I am also available for your specific questions.
- I have a lot of personal knowledge and expertise about travel. I can advise you on other things about your trip that you might not think about. I can help you with currency, vaccinations and many other aspects of traveling that might be foreign to you (pun intended!)
- I have access to deals that aren’t open to the average person!
- Lastly, I take the worry out of travel! I make sure that you have everything you need to have an amazing time! You can just sit back and watch the magic unfold!
Your Investment
You work hard for your money, so do I. Your time is valuable! The average person spends about 30 to 40 hours researching a trip. This is time that you could use doing what makes you the happiest! I will gladly research and plan your trip so you don’t have to! Here is what I charge for designing and booking your dream trip:

Procedure
1.The first step is yours! Fill out the questionnaire on the Plan Your Trip page. This will give me the information I need to get ready for the next step, meeting with you!
2.After you have filled out the questionnaire I will contact you to set up a meeting. This can be in person, on the phone or virtually. At this meeting we will discuss more of what you are looking for in a trip and how I can help. If we both feel that we are a good match, I will send you an email with how you can pay my design fee.
3.Now the fun part! One to two weeks after the fee is paid I will contact you with my initial ideas. You will tell me what you love and have to have and what you might want changed. I will make as many modifications as you need. This is your dream. I’m just the lucky one that gets to make it happen!
4.Once you have approved the itinerary I will take care of the rest!
5.This isn’t the end! I will work with you in the weeks and months before your travel. We will talk about packing, money, restaurants … and much, much more!
6.Before your trip we will meet and go over your itinerary one last time to make sure you are comfortable.
7.It’s time for your trip. Feel at ease knowing that you can contact me during the trip if any questions or concerns come up.
