Over the years, as we’ve traveled the world, we have tried many different products from luggage to power converters to clothing and accessories. Some were gifts, some were well researched and some we bought in a pinch, out of necessity. Most did the job adequately, a few were complete trash and didn’t last the trip, but these are the products that have lasted, proven their worth and always go with us.

One of our favorite travel accessories, that we use on every trip, is a 20L Stowaway Daypack from Eddie Bauer. On our earlier trips, everything we bought ended up in Colleen’s purse or else we were forced to carry plastic shopping bags around with us. We tried other options including a school sized backpack and a tablet case, but they were either too large or too small. The Eddie Bauer daypack folds into one of the pockets to form a roughly 8” x 8” package. It’s made of nylon and is lightweight and durable. We bring it with us on every trip and always end up using it. This is a product that we highly recommend. Eddie Bauer does make the Stowaway Daypack in different sizes, but we found that the 20L is about the right size. It normally sells for $30 but at this writing is on sale for $15.
